I found Pat Moore over the Internet when my cat Tiki was diagnosed with cancer in April of 2001. He was operated on and I hoped and prayed that it was cured. The testing determined that Tiki got the cancer from either a Rabies shot or the feline leukemia shot. I was devastated, but carried on. He then had two more operations, and the cancer continued. Pat Moore counseled me and gave me support throughout the whole process. She is a wonderful counselor, and has helped me accept Tiki’s problem. She NEVER mentioned the price of her kittens and I knew she was the breeder I wanted for my kittens. I knew in May of 2003 that Tiki had to be put to sleep, so I went to my wonderful Vet, Dr. Marie Goulder, and we both cried. I cries my eyes out for two days. I have an Alzheimer’s mother (92), and I would take my frustrations out by talking to Tiki. He was a saint to me for the 8 years my mom had her problem. I called Pat and said I can’t be without a cat, and wanted 2. I asked her when I could dome. She said tomorrow. I said I could come Saturday, and she said fine. My girlfriend Jean and I set off to Newburgh, IN at 5 a.m. and arrived at 1 p.m. When I got there I felt like I had met a wonderful friend again that I would never forget. Pat had 9 kittens and cats to choose from. All of them were absolutely great, and it was hard to choose 2. But Pat said the two kittens I should have were a darling female (runt) Natural Mink (Tiki 2) and a Champagne Mink male (Tonka). Tiki 2 looks just like my beloved Tiki1. Those two darling cats bonded with me on the 6 hour ride back to Palos Heights, IL. I now have them at home, and love them dearly. They go in their boxes, eat ravenously, and generate love all the time. I now don’t dread going home, and love having my precious kittens.
