TestimonialsWayne's Story Lord Aidan Aqua of Treepaw
My first Tonkinese, Zachary, is a Platinum mink. He is a total love-bucket--full of life and love. He does somersaults for me to get my attention so that I will pick him up and love on him. I knew I would forever be attached to this breed and I wanted another one. Zachary's parents came from Moortonkkatz cattery and I knew I wanted the same bloodline. I contacted Pat and told her I wanted a Champagne Mink boy that was show quality and sweet because I wanted to show him. Boy did I get what I asked for--and then some. I did not think cats came any sweeter than Zachary, but my Aidan is amazing. He is totally into me. He loves to be loved and cuddled like a baby. In his first show as a cat he finalled in 5 of 8 rings and he only needs one more final to be a Grand Champion. Needless to say, he is a beautiful example of this fine breed. He is already a Quad Champion. He will become a Grand and I hope that Pat and Bob are there to see their wonderful baby Aidan shine. I have been toying with the idea of breeding and if I ever do, I will breed from Pat and Bob's wonderful babies. They love their babies and this is evident in the kittens they sell. I am so glad that I had the pleasure of meeting them and am proud to call them friends. 3/05 - Update from Wayne: I have come a long way from showing my Grand Champion Aidan. I now have 3 female Moortonkkatz Tonkinese and have started my own cattery. CH Moortonkkatz Nasa Aria of Treepaw who is out of GC, RW Toytown's Right Stuff of Kinukatz (a.k.a. NASA) and Kamehameha's Valentine Candy was bred to Payfurpurr's King Arthur of Treepaw who is out of GC, GP, RW Almondize Georgio of Lovnpaws and Lovnpaws Smudgekins of Payfurpurr now have 5 babies and they are gorgeous. I have Pat Moore to thank for giving me this opportunity to breed this wonderful breed. I am so fortunate to have such great breeding stock to begin my cattery. I would never have believed that going on 3 years ago I would have found such a great friend in Pat Moore. Not only did I purchase my first Grand Champion from Pat but I also got the added bonus of a wonderful friendship. She is dedicated to her babies and this breed and she has taught me a lot. It was Destiny that we met and I look forward to showing with her in ACFA for many years to come in order to promote this wonderful breed. I can never thank Pat enough for giving me this wonderful start.
