The
History of Moore Tonkkatz Cattery
Moore Tonkkatz's Cattery was established in 1996, upon receiving
a Champagne Point male Tonkinese from a friend in Tennessee. My
Siamese cat that I had had for 13 years was put to sleep and I
was diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma (bone marrow cancer). My family
tried desperately to find me another Siamese cat or kitten. My
best friend from Kentucky had moved to Murphresboro, Tennessee
found me a Tonkinese cat. The only thing I knew about the Tonkinese
cat was that it supposedly looked like a Siamese cat but was more
loving and the lady that owned him had to move and could not take
the cat.
